The Compact CI series infrared sensors can repeatedly measure the heat emitted from an object and convert the energy into a measurable electrical signal. The target temperature range for Compact CI measurement is 0 to 500°C (32 to 932°F). The Compact CI circuit board is protected by a durable stainless steel case that meets the IP65 (NEMA-4) standard. Without cooling, the sensor head can withstand an ambient temperature of 70°C (160°F); with a cooling jacket, it can withstand an ambient temperature of up to 260°C (500°F).
